Just over 8 miles, cold wet & muddy. Very heavy going slogging it out across waterlogged fields and muddy footpaths. Ran up through the quarry to Stoke St Michael followed the footpaths to Coleford and circumnavigated Holcombe before coming into land. Even managed to stay upright. Just managed to creep over 1900 running miles 20 days to go. I was running along the footpaths towards Coleford up a rather narrow footpath where the hedge encroaches in on both sides. As it is such a narrow pathway it is well used and very muddy I was slipping about and hopping over the puddles with quite a pace for such a treacherous pathway. The brambles hang over the footpath as well which you have to avoid a best you can when suddenly my hat is whipped off my head and the cold attacks my ears immediately. I slid to a halt and spun around to see whom had stolen my hat and there it is swinging on a bramble. It certainly puts you out of your stride.
