Day167/365

New route this evening. Just under 3.5 miles but still managed to contain 5 named hills started out running down Holcombe Hill, continued down Edford a Hill followed the road to Stoke St Michael where ran up Stoke Hill. Turned off at The Knatchbull Arms up Tower Hill along the lane a steep decent down Moons Hill, along the lane and past The Duke of Cumberland back up Edford Hill and Holcombe Hill. Nice steady pace, just under 30mins still warm and muggy. The streets of a Stoke St Michael are still covered in Union Jack bunting left over from the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the D Day. Apparently, shrouded in secrecy Field Marshal Montgomery, commander of the Eighth Army, met with many of the most senior officers in the British  and American forces including Eisenhower, to decide whether to bring forward the D Day landings over a few ales at the Pub.
