Running out of hours in the day and daylight, just before 8pm before I got out for my run today. Headtorch on, over the fields and through the woods. Spotted a couple of Roe deer in the first field I ran through headed towards Holcombe Old church and through Holcombe woods. Frightened the pheasants that had just started to roost, glad of my head torch as it was quite dark under the trees. Took a tumble when a stick wedged itself between my feet, luckily fell with style and no damage done. 3.64 miles in 36 minutes not a bad pace in the dark.
