Leaving it a little late in the day again but managed to get out for a much needed off road trundle. My ankle is slightly tender, running up and down Holcombe Hill last night 3 times probably didn't help but it could well have been worse. Ran out across the fields towards Holcombe Inn then onto to Holcombe Old Church and into the woods behind which the footpath is actually still closed due to the bridge being unsafe. Followed the footpaths and trails skirting Holcombe village arriving eventually at the bottom of Holcombe by the Duke of Cumberland intending on going up the pack horse trail opposite it was now dusk and without my head torch I had already struggled to see in the wooded areas I decided to run straight up Holcombe to home instead. 5.2 miles in 54 minutes.
