Time is Precious was set up in memory of Ben Halford who died age 5 after his long brave battle against cancer, please read Bens story www.timeispreciou.org/bens-story To commemorate Bens birthday he would have been 9 this year and as part of 2014kx365 challenge I am joining in on the last ever Character Day.
On Friday 11th July I am going to run from St.Benedicts RC Primary School to the children's ward at the Royal United Hospital, Bath approx 13 miles dressed in character. It is hoped that the children including some of Bens classmates and Mr Lion (T.I.P. Mascot) will do a lap of the playing field before waving me off.
Please support me in my challenge as every penny raised goes to help provide hospitals where Ben received his care with equipment and facilities to make life a bit more bearable for children and their families whilst in in hospital. Having spent the last 3 years in and out of hospital with my own daughter who was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder AIHA , I have personally witnessed the good that Time is Precious aims to do.
You can donate however small to www.justgiving.com/365jimbarron and follow my challenge on facebook 2014kx365jimbarron.
