Damp and drizzly today, ran exactly the same route as yesterday. Tried to ignore any niggles my back gave and decided to push the pace out a bit. With injuries lately I feel as if I have I have started plodding a bit, managed to run 3.5 minutes quicker today. A lot wetter underfoot today but much cooler, good conditions. Startled a couple of Roe deer in the field that scuttled into the hedge. The second deer spotting me later than the first and didnt know which way to run deciding to head straight for me till it switched direction again and jumped into the hedge. Have had a week of fairly minimal runs ready for a longer run tomorrow morning, I'm needing to increase the distance on the 17.5 miles I ran last weekend as Uphill to Wells is 29 miles. I hoping a weekly increase of four miles a week will get me through on 20th September. As part of 2014kx365 Challenge I aim to run/walk a minimum 1k everyday throughout 2014 and hopefully fund raise for chosen charities SANDS www.justgiving.com/2014kx365jimbarron and Time is Precious www.justgiving.com/365jimbarron I intend to run a minimum of 5k a day and I will strife to do this, but as we dont know what life may throw at us I have included a buffer zone to enable me to drop down to the minimum. This blog is for those who would like to follow my challenge of running everyday.

Day 241/365
