As part of 2014kx365 Challenge I aim to run/walk a minimum 1k everyday throughout 2014 and hopefully fund raise for chosen charities SANDS www.justgiving.com/2014kx365jimbarron and Time is Precious www.justgiving.com/365jimbarron I intend to run a minimum of 5k a day and I will strife to do this, but as we dont know what life may throw at us I have included a buffer zone to enable me to drop down to the minimum. This blog is for those who would like to follow my challenge of running everyday.

Day163/365
Struggled this evening, well I have struggled all week, feeling tired but today my heel has been giving me a bit of gyp as well. I first felt discomfort with my left heel mid February when I started taking the mileage up whist training for Bath Half Marathon. Managed to run Bath Half with just a niggle but two weeks later I ran The Big Cheese 15 miles off road around Cheddar the next day it was like my ankle had been set in concrete. I still have good days & bad days with it but most mornings it takes a while to get it going, today it's been all day and I can't pin point a reason for this as I haven't overdone it or pulled it, may have to take it to doctors 16 weeks is along time now. Just ran a very steady paced minimum 5k on the road this evening, now icing a massaging heel.
