365jimbarron Running Challenge

As part of 2014kx365 Challenge I aim to run/walk a minimum 1k everyday throughout 2014 and hopefully fund raise for chosen charities SANDS www.justgiving.com/2014kx365jimbarron and Time is Precious www.justgiving.com/365jimbarron I intend to run a minimum of 5k a day and I will strife to do this, but as we dont know what life may throw at us I have included a buffer zone to enable me to drop down to the minimum. This blog is for those who would like to follow my challenge of running everyday.

Day 213/365

August 1st not April 1st but thought it would be funny to take my mate Mark McLaughlin through not one, not two but five fields of rather unfriendly bovine cattle whilst he was wearing the brightest of red shirts. It certainly tested the pace of his brand new Nike lunar glide runners. He was also shocked by how big a cow is close up. We still managed a 6.6 mile multi terrain run, cool running the temperature has dropped off a fair amount and quite damp too.
