Getting late in the afternoon before the window of opportunity arose today, I opted for an off road trundle. It is now super slippery along the trails, spotted a trio of Roe deer which took no notice of me whatsoever. Headed towards Holcombe Old Church and into the woods beyond startling pheasants which were just settling down to roost. It was quickly getting dark now as I ran across Holcombe playing fields and down Budds Lane, not having my head torch and not wanting any accidents with only 52 days to go in my challenge decided to head home 4.18 miles.
